Four Urban League Community Service Centers have been established throughout Dallas County under a Community Service Block Grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

The Centers information and support services and also a specific curriculum for youth, senior citizens, single parents and adults who are presently or have been involved in other programs. The program provides services to participants whose income

The Central Dallas Ministries, a local community-based organization and subcontractor to the Centers, performs medical interventions inclusive of primary care services. Medicaid eligible children, their parents or caretakers in Dallas County are qualified to receive these services.

Specific services offered at the Centers include:

• Referrals to Conservation Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

• Direct assistance

• Technology Center.

• Employment

• Education

• Senior Services Health.

• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) available during tax season each year.
